What services do you offer?

You can browse our full range of services, in our services section.

How long does it take to produce a quote?

Provided you give us accurate information, we can produce a quote and email it to you within 24 hours.

Do I need tree surgery?

If you have trees on your land, we recommend regular maintenance to keep your trees as healthy as possible, and keep people and your property safe. We can identify problems early on, such as tree diseases like ash dieback, or potential problems with trees becoming unstable in storms. Pruning is also essential to stop branches reaching overhead wires or nearby buildings.

How much does it cost to remove a tree?

It varies. The cost to remove a tree depends on both the tree itself, and the location of the tree. Fill out our enquiry form, and if possible include a picture. We can then send you a quote for tree removal.

How long does it take to dismantle and remove a tree?

The length of time it takes to remove a tree varies, depending on the tree and its position. As an example, for a single tree in a household garden we would expect to complete the job within 1-2 days, including removal and tidy up. To find out more contact us.

How much noise will you make?

This depends on the type of work we are asked to do. At Special Branch Tree & Hedge Surgery Ltd. we work hard to maintain our equipment and keep it up-to-date. Using new and well maintained equipment helps us produce as little noise as possible and minimise breakdowns, so we’re on and off site as quickly as possible.

Do you always clear the site once the tree has been removed?

In general, yes. However, in certain cases the customer may wish to dispose of, or use the cut tree. In this case, we can arrange to stack the cut wood in a convenient place on site.

What certifications should I look for in a tree surgery company?

Always use NTPC trained tree surgeons with all the up-to-date LOLER certificates for their equipment. At Special Branch Tree & Hedge Surgery Ltd., we are always happy to issue these and copies of our insurance cover to our customers.
